FEATURE INTRODUCTION
In Beitou's Datun Community, during the right season, a short 30-meter section of glossy privet trees can host up to 3,000 rhinoceros beetles. The area also boasts various crops throughout the year, including sweet bamboo shoots, green bamboo shoots, citrus fruits, coffee, and vegetables. It's only a 10-minute drive from Beitou MRT Station. Attractions include Fo Guang Shan An Guo Temple, the local Qingtian Temple, and the Four Seasons Corridor for viewing the nightscape of the Taipei Basin. The best times to visit are during the annual cherry blossom season in February, sweet bamboo shoot season in March, acacia flower season in April, rhinoceros beetle season in June, and coffee bean production season in November.
